Featured Puzzle Game: Azada
Now available for Mac OSX!

Most often I will try to feature developers or types of games, but this week I want to feature a specific game. Azada. I love casual puzzle games of all sorts. What makes Azada great is that in essence it collection of many types of puzzle games in one. Some are pretty standard, a few have a bit of twist on the classic they are based on, but all are styled to fit with in the context of the main game.
The basic premise is that Titus needs your help to unlock a mystery. To do so you must find, and then solve all the puzzles in his books. Each book has several puzzles that when solved reward you with a page. Once all the pages are found you must complete a small puzzle that gives you a piece of the painting and helps you find the next book.In the books you will find all manner of puzzles. Pegs, memory, sudoku, match 3, jig saw, stacking, matching and many others. All are well done.
The most enjoyable part for me are the Hidden Object puzzles. Much like the Mystery Case Files series, you must find hidden objects in the room. However this is very different. You must figure out how the obejcts work together or interact with other elements on the screen to solve a find the missing page. There is no clue to as what has do be done and each are different. It is a logic puzzle. I found these to be the most fun. I hope that in the sequel there are more of these than there are in this one. When you finish a new puzzle type, it is unlocked in the gallery and you can then play it outside the story line.

Upon finishing the game, you are given a secret code that it is hinted will be useful in the future, probably in the sequel.
Check it out, try the demo. I was hooked. The second the demo ran out I was at the web site purchasing it so I could continue.
