Battlezone II: Combat Commander

The war over bio-metal continues in this sequel to the 1998 "Battlezone", which itself was a remake of the much earlier arcade game. Like it's predecessor, it's a 3d hybrid of a tank sim, fps and rts.

Whereas the former game took place in an "alternate 1960's" in which the Soviets and Americans were rivals over the newly discovered alien technologies, Battlezone II takes place in an "alternate 1990's" in which humans have joined forces to combat the gathering threat of the alien race of "Scions".

Additional features of Battlezone II: Combat Commander
  • Challenging campaigns as well as varied multiplayer modes.
  • 3-D topographical radar system which, as in Battlezone, is linked to the Command Interface system.
  • The HUD displays icons that further simplify the tasks of monitoring units and resources.
  • Meters allow you to observe resource and unit development progress at a glance.
  • Units under your command can be tasked individually or linked together into groups that can be hot-keyed for quick response.
  • Units can be assigned to the control of allied players in multiplayer!
