Civilization Revolution (full title: Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution) is a new iteration of Civilization being developed by Firaxis with Sid Meier as designer for seventh generation consoles and hand-helds. The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo DS versions are due for release in early 2008. A Wii version was originally expected but has since been put on indefinite hold.

Meier has been enthusiastic about this installment, being quoted in both the press release and trailer as saying, "This is the game I've always wanted to make."
