Fight for Baghdad
In "Fight for Baghdad", you are an American soldier in the push for and occupation of Baghdad, Iraq in "Operation Iraqi Freedom". First advancing your way toward the cities, facing the many dangers of war. But after you capture it, you occupy it it, conducting daily (but never routine) duties.
You begin this journey all the way from basic training, with the ability to specialize in whatever class of soldier you'd like. This is not just Play a-random-soldier idea, but is much more like an RPG in the sense that you create your character, and build him up from recruit to general. You follow your soldier from basic training through patrolling the streets of Baghdad.

Gameplay Mechanics
Maps
There are no real maps because it not a linear, mission-based game. Instead it is more like one continuous map, or at least it will appear that way. It will be fairly accurately modelled on Baghdad, with the main parts of the city constructed in an accurate position. Obviously we can't recreate Baghdad realistically, but it will still be huge.
AI
There will be realistic and intelligent AI that you will fight with or fight against. Your not a one man team in this game.
Battles
Battles will be often, fast paced, and intense, as you not only fight for freedom, but for you life. In war it's kill or be killed.
Training
Training is optional, but it will teach you tactics, how to play, and build your character before you take him into the dangerous streets of Iraq. All recruits go through Basic Combat Training, but Advanced Individual Training is available for specialization.
Movement
A standard WASD first person shooter style.
