The Fire Emblem series is regarded as one of the finest RPG franchises on any system, but this is the first time the series has appeared on the cube.
The story revolves around Ike, the son of a mercenary soldier, who must stop a conflict between the human Beroc and the half human, half beast Laguz.
The gameplay is classic turn based strategy fare, but with a brutal twist, if one of your characyters fall in battle they are gone for good, this has been a staple of the series since the original titles.
As with most games of this ilk, the combat is fluid and easy once you have the menu system down. If you enjoy your turn based games, RPG's and own a GC then this comes highly recommended.
