Gridfire is a remake of Crossfire, a game that appeared on many home computers including the Commodore 64. The original is by Jay Sullivan and Chuck Benton and was published by Sierra On-Line in 1983.

This is a shooter taking place on a grid. A few different keysets can be selected for moving and shooting in four directions. Of course the goal is to destroy all incoming enemies; take care to collect new ammo to avoid running out of bullets while under attack.
