Learning the Kana
In this educational mini game, you can teach yourself how to identify Japanese katakana and hiragana symbols. Each symbol represents a sound, and with practice you can eventually memorize the symbols and their associated sounds. At the same time, you will be improving your typing skills!
The gameplay is very easy to adapt to. Clouds containing Japanese symbols scroll across the screen, and you must type the sound you believe is associated with any symbol on the screen. You gain points by correctly identifying the symbols.

| This was a solo project. I did have to ask permission to borrow the kana sprites from a website, though. | Harder than Planned | I ended up spending enough time testing the game, that my typing skills improved noticeably. |
