Prey
In Prey, players enter a living spaceship which enslaves alien races and devours humans for lunch. Prey turns the first person shooter genre upside-down with awesome new gameplay features like wall-walking and gravity flipping, making for intense single-player and multi player experiences.
Prey is built on a heavily modded version of the Doom 3 engine and is developed by Human Head Studios under the direction of 3D Realms.

Bottom Line: Play it! All the gamers who enjoyed Doom 3 and Quake 4 should be very pleased with Prey. The Doom 3 engine has never been so robust and looked so great. The story, while not groundbreaking, delivers more dramatic moments than its two predecessors and should definitely please sci-fi aficionados. The no-gravity environments, the crazy portals, and spirit walking with an ethereal bow&arrow enhance the gameplay.
However, what I disliked about the game is its relative shortness, probably a bit more than Doom3 and Quake 4, in spite of the adaptive level of difficulty; the shortness was brought to the forefront by the fact that you could never die and were always making forward progress. Also, the portal system can get a bit repetitive at times, but it's such a new and cool looking feature that it's easily forgotten. Prey is simply jaw dropping, with ridiculously beautiful lighting and particle effects. The weapon design is unique, and even though there are not a zillion of them, the core selection is definite quality. The voices are very good too, and the music has a varied selection of licensed tracks (Don’t Fear the Reaper, Cat Scratch Fever) & a soundtrack infused with native instrumental tones. Compared to some of the newest games, I thought that Prey's engine would start showing its weaknesses, but overall I was pleasantly surprised by both the look and the content of this game.
