In Professor Layton and the Curious Village you are an archaeologist that will have to solve mysteries in the town of St. Mystere. There you will ask the citizens for clues to the various enigmas in town. However, getting information out of the citizens requires you to solve a puzzle of some sort. There are over 120 puzzles in all to solve. The game's puzzles were designed by Akira Tago a Professor at Chiba University who is also the author of the popular "Head Gymnastics" book series in Japan.
