Quake 4

You are Matthew Kane, an elite member of Rhino Squad and Earth's valiant invasion force. Your skills are desperately needed and you must battle both alone and in tandem with your squad to achieve success against the Strogg. Take command of hover tanks and mechanized walkers as you engage in a heroic mission into the heart of the Strogg war machine.

You'll either 'hate' or 'love' this game, the only difference between 'haters' and 'lovers' is whether or not Quake 2 has been played! Strange but true ;o)

You do need a mid range PC to play this one (relative to the system spec printed on the box) to have 'fun' otherwise, as with all current gen games, it becomes frustrating as your performance drops right when you need it.

The added bonus is of course the fact that just about everything in the game is editable in some way so it forms a good basis from which to get ones collective assets wet!
