Bottom Line: Play it! Quake 4 is by all standards a Game specially built from start to end for hardcore Loyal Fans. The Developers and designers are above all, for having a big understanding of the needs and taste of a Hardcore Fps Gamer. Horror and thrill at its best. Lots of blood, flesh. Even the vampires will get nightmares if they played it! This game is having the essence of Game developers who started it all ( 3D fps games).
Even a single view of the monsters will bring chills through a players spine. A thrill + skill level well maintained throughout the game. There are no females in this game but still is rated 18. This is the only price they had to pay for such a game.Never wanted females either. Had it been below 18 it would have been the best game of the year.But I am sure no Quake4 fan would want that.Their attitude speaks: Why care of Game of the year Awards when we started it all. Seriously they are by all standards a parallel to the Game industry and they lead. Great sound effect. The Game has great HUD(s) and very cool in-game 3d panels with cursors that caught my eyes and I though was one of the best effect ever seen. Monsters dont speak too much. And thats good for rise in the adrenaline. Shoot everything that moves. My Personal fav Best Game of the Year(s) to come. Learning Curve: Takes a second
