Saints Row is an action-adventure video game, available for the Xbox 360 and to be released for the PlayStation 3. It was developed by Volition, and published by THQ. The game has been described as being in the same vein as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in terms of gameplay, with the developers referring to it as an emerging genre called "open world". Both games focus on urban gang activity, with the main character attempting to strengthen his gang's standing within the world.
