This is a classic example of prototype driven gameplay. You simply cannot quibble that this game, if taken further, would be absolutely great to play. As it is, its already really fun to just blast up your clones with the variety of guns on offer.
This game yells at me that it wants to have some movie moments thrown in. You know, matrix style timeshifts. I really love the art style Eric went for, its unique and simple and reminds me of a few programmes we used to have on kids TV here in the UK.
As a prototype there are a load of different directions you could take it. But my feeling is that I'd go for a bit of slapstick humour and have your character make loads of wisecracks. I'd maybe add a bit of adventure into it by having some NPC's. It'd be nice to mix up baddies and "innocents" and have a little bit of character interaction (a comedy head baddy for instance).
I do hope someday Eric decides to make this into a game, I'm sure he would make it something truly fantastic.
