Acidbomb

Download Now
Acidbomb is a fifty level puzzle game where you must find the pistons used to trigger a bomb and defuse them before time runs out. There are many bombs scattered around the world, from biological bombs that have hair-sensitive triggers to napalm bombs that are exploding at the seams, to nuclear warheads that have challenged even the highest trained bomb defusal agent.

Bottom Line: Play it!
Really short review; Minesweeper at its' most intelligent ever. Looking for longer version? OK, basically, it's minesweeper plus a little basic math skills thrown in for good measure. Basically, if you have a hard time adding things together, you should not play this game. However, if you consider yourself a minesweeper ace, this game throws a curve at you that you may not have expected.

As far as comparisons to Metal Gear Acid, I have no idea as I have not had that experience yet. I've heard good things, though. And since I definitely enjoyed playing Acidbomb through to the end, I also look forward to eventually playing it as a minigame in MGSA.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for Acidbomb 2: Rearmed, coming soon-ish for PC. As well as a PS3 version for download in the Playstation Store, as of the printing of this review.
