Age of Conan will be the first fantasy MMO to offer true real-time action-based combat. You will have several attacks to choose from such as forward stab, high slash, and low slash, which can be chained together in different sequences to create devastating combos. Your available attacks and combos will increase as you level from 1 to 80. And there are no hidden attack rolls like in some other MMOs. Whatever your weapon hits on your screen is what actually gets hit. This opens up some interesting options when taking on multiple opponents.

In addition to standard ground combat, Age of Conan will also feature formation combat when grouping with other players, mounted combat, and even siege combat involving entire guilds.

Age of Conan will also feature a full single-player style RPG campaign. When you first enter the game, you will play through a 10-15+ hour storyline on the island of Tortage. While all characters start off the same, this introduction to the world of Conan will be different for each of the four archtypes and will also be affected by your choices. With full voice acting, branching dialogs, and plenty of action, Age of Conan will start off with a wonderful experience.
