Armagetron takes one of America's favorite virtual sports from the movie Tron, light cycle battles.

The project is freeware, and has passed hands onto a new team from the original creators.

While not the most stunning visually of the light bike simulators it is by far the most scalable, and runs on the widest array of machines to my knowledge.

Armagetron also has excellent lan and online multiplayer. You can host a new game from your pc, or even run a dedicated server.

This an excellent game for the casual and competitive gamer. As you speed through walls at break neck speed trying to out think your opponent you're guaranteed to have a blast.
