More About Blitz Blox
Blitz Blox takes the some common conceptions of block dropping games and throws them out the window. Who needs two separate fields on which to drop blocks when one is so much more fun? Drop one block at a time? Hah! How about several?
In this game two opponents are pitted against one another with three types of blocks, all which react in different ways to one another, in a battle to earn the most points by destroying as many of the enemy's blocks as possible. Further depth is added by the concept of "charges" applied to blocks that denote the power a block has to attack another block. Charges can set off chain reactions amongst the blocks already stacked on the play field, helping players to destroy blocks deep in enemy territory. Special blocks are awarded to players and they annihilate the enemy, and give them advantages and powers over there opponent when used. 2 game modes and 2 victory conditions combine to spice up the game play.
Blitz Blox is still in primary development, with hopes of being released in 2007 for PC, and shortly thereafter for XBox360
