Yeah Blockland forums are a mess. Spammers, Noobs, Trashtalkers, and everything else. Yeah you guys are right. They should delete the forums for retail release.

Blockland is ok but the number of members could go much higher if they made the game free but charged a fee monthly/non monthly for people that wanted extra features and I agree with Eric,

Best building game ever made

It's not scheduled to be released until 2008, and that's if it isn't delayed. The price point will be completely different: it will probably cost at least40 + $9.95/month. They simply aren't going to let you build whatever you want. They can't. All builds will either be pre-defined or require approval. Chat will be heavily moderated if it is allowed at all. They're just totally different games.

Hey Eric, any Idea to counter the lego MMO? Its sopposed to be the best game yet, and It compared the Lego MMo to your game, Well w/e im sticking with BL thats for sure!

I like blockland0002 just cause it doesn't lag easily, if you forget about people killing and painting your build, its a pretty fun game :P

So, I'm curious: did you ever rename the "randomize" button to "'sassy' pirate"? That was so funny when you and Ben were talking about that. Ben was like "watch.." *click*, and presto: a lego dude with 2 hooks, a peg leg, and a beard dressed entirely in pink and sky blue. I laughed. Awesome.

I have been playing Blockland for the best part of a year, It is really good even if you don't want to build. I'm defiantly buying Retail :P

Yes it was. My forum join date was March 7, 2005 which was after that forum wipe about a month after TSS showing.

I think that Blockland is very addictive. I've been glued to it since I found it on a game site. Blockland really took me into developing myself although I've never made anything releasable. I owe you one Eric, I'm getting this when it's retailed!
