Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The game's story is an original, but it happens at some point during the third season of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. The basic story is that there's a gang of vampires who, believe it or not, want to kill humans. They also want to sacrifice one so The Master (a very powerful demon) can be reincarnated.
The main character is Buffy Summers. She's an average high school student in all ways except that she's the Chosen One, and must defend the world from demons and vampires. The other big names from the cast are in this game as well (Spike, Angel, Willow, Xander, Giles, etc...) and unlike Buffy, they're actually voiced by the actors from the show.
The gameplay is a mixture of action and some puzzle solving. While the game does focus more on hand-to-hand combat than anything else, there are also some alternative weaponry (a water gun that shoots holy water, crossbow, hellfire, etc...).
This game is unique because it's a genuinely good licensed game. Fans of the show and non-fans alike will enjoy this game. It was put together with the same kind of humor that fans enjoyed from the show, and it still had a good game behind it. It would still be a good game even without the license, which is something that many licensed games shoot for but can't accomplish.
