BZFlag is an online multiplayer first-person shooter. You control a tank in an arena where most of the time you have to shoot everyone else. In addition to your normal movement and cannon you can pick up flags which will give you a power of some sort. The flags come in a wide variety with everything from homing missiles to the ability to move through obstacles in the level.
The most common game mode is the deathmatch, where you simply get points for hitting other players, other game modes include capture the flag and rabbit (where one player is chased by everyone else).
