Chrono Trigger

The 32-meg Chrono Trigger utilizes time travel, science-fiction, and fantasy adventure to create one of the best role-playing games ever. The game's hero, Crono, is transported into the past and ends up altering the course of history, and with it the future as well.

The integral time travel element of the game enables players to alter the game by changing the past, give players multiple endings and excellent repeat game play value. There are mini-quests, a huge cast of characters, realistic time travel, non-linear game play, and more active and interactive battle scenes than Squaresoft's 1994, highly acclaimed, role-playing game Final Fantasy III.

Okay, I've modified the tagline for the gamer badge to be less subjective. Hopefully the new quote will fit nicely.

Another small annoyance, I feel that the line on the Great Games Badge for this game that reads "2nd Best SNES RPG ever" is a little bit subjective. Is is just me, or should these badges be void of opinion?

Someone should support the removal of the cease and desist notice on the Chrono Trigger Ressurrection project.. ther was a petition somewhere but i can't rememebr where it was.

Even Enix US agree it should be made they just have to help persuade the japanese division to allow it

Alright! The game's name is now spelled correctly!
On the same topic of spelling, I'd also like to point out that the main hero's name (by default) is 'Crono' and not 'Chrono', so I'd like to see the game's summary changed to reflect that.

My apologies if I come off sounding a little anal about spelling, I just cherish this title and want it to have a flawless entry on GGE.

Cheers :)

I really enjoyed this game and it's battle system. Having the 7 or so endings really helped with the replay value. A game ahead of its time.

best made, best played rpg ever - the story, the settings, the battle engine, everything. it was much more playable to me than the final fantasies which i'd played a little bit but wasn't able to get into them at the time, so chrono trigger is what really opened me up to rpgs.

Yes! This is a great game! Is there any way to have the spelling corrected on the game title? It currently says "Crono Trigger".

First game that ever made me feel bad for the 'villian' (in reference to Magnus). Great graphics for the time, and the game-play still holds up. ;)

The pacing in this game was great - I never felt like I had to stop anywhere to level up for awhile in order to face the next dungeon.
