In 1948 a secret military research facility was built on a remote Pacific island. One year later all contact with the island was lost. Paratroopers were sent to discover what had happened there, they jokingly refered to the mission as "Code Name: Monster Island"...

You enter the mission as Nick Russo, the only surviving member of his squad following the downing of their plane during a storm on the southern side of KaraWalli Island. You regain conciousness on a broad tropical beach, alone and with an entire island to cross to reach the research facilities and a working radio...and "something" just moved in the surrounding jungle...a lot of "somethings"...
