One thing you won't need to do while playing Commando is to enter: up, up, down, down, left, right,left, right, a,b start. Why? The game is essentially a graphically stunning Contra minus the insane difficulty. Although that's probably not the fairest assessment in the world because the game borrows just as much from Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes as it does Konami's save the world by blowing it up shooter. All in all, Commando is certainly worth playing if you like stuff that splodes.
