Crackdown
Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the first ever truly 3-D playground. Gamers will enforce justice by any means necessary in Pacific City, a crime-ridden urban center built to encourage the exploration of the full width, depth and height of the city. Coupled with highly innovative co-op gameplay - a genre first - and an interactive world where nearly anything can be used as a weapon, gamers will be able to create a volatile cocktail of judicial oppression as they clean up the streets.

But I loved this game.....
Drive better, aim faster, jump higher, lift heavier and punch (kick) harder, and last but not least, destroy better (explosives).
It does have a big flaw, the storyline isn't what I'd say...catching, but it worked for me.
Nevertheless, I still think it's worth the time and money investment, even though it seems like just another clone, the game has much of his own to offer.
And that's all I can say without spoiling too much, get it if you enjoy the demo, the game will surely not turn you down then.
The paid add-on adds some nice new stuff too. I hope they continue to support the game for at least a while longer. Although moving on to making a sequel would be great, too.
It's still a hella fun game, but they could've made it easier to replay instead of making you delete your save. It's like they don't want you to replay it.
Mixed feelings about this game...
It has a fantastic game engine, cool physics, beautiful cell-shading and good control (excepting the aim-locking which sometimes locks on dead foes). It is very very fun to play, specially when you upgrade and start jumping matrix-style, throwing cars and vans, and shooting rockets from the air.
But it's like a "GTA Cop edition"... You can just kill foes, do vehicle races and jump races. Nothing else :(
I like it and I've almost finished it but it's a bit repetitive. I was hoping more variety on the missions.
IMHO seems like the developers had to rush and made a great game but didn't throw in more variety and "side-missions".
It could have had boats, planes, female agents, etc, but it does so many other things so right. The cracks when you land, the physics, the SUV, the brilliant acheivements.
A great entry into the market by Realtime Worlds.
Seriously people- play the game- the complete game- and THEN review it....
This is one hell of a sandbox, though the AI makes the game a little less immersive (isn't it odd that a general stands on top of a building day and night holding their gun and waiting for you?). The Shai Gen may address this though.
Regardless, this game seems to have great focus on it's strengths. It's about all of the meat and none of the vegetables!
This game is definitely worth playing.
