DeathBall 2013
"EPIC."
Ten years after Sarah Conner destroyed the original foosball table that was programmed to kill her, two foosball tables arrive in Los Angeles from the post-apocalyptic year 2013. The first T-800 Model 101, the same type of table that Sarah first encountered, while the second is the T-1000. You play as a group of foosball players that are playing foosball on a foosball table.
More coming real soon...

With the Alpha presentation behind us, we now look forward to that new horizon-- BETA. Things have been relatively smooth thus far with development. I think our early attention to system architecture really paid off.
It seems that our game has defiantly evolved from that quaint little sports title-- to a game that commands your attention with fun and rewarding gameplay. How do we do this? Umm-- Blood. The blood splatter also makes debugging the game infinitely more fun.
The only thing that separates Pee Wee's Playhouse from Silent Hill is a little blood splatter on the walls.

The decapitation of the other player's heads is looking great.

Everyone is enjoying a nice summer break until the 8th. Then, we will have alpha turn-ins as soon as break is over. We'll try to have a demo up on the website sometime soon.
Oh! And screenshots, too! ;)

Hi everybody,
We are Lobster in a LifeJacket Productions. A group of six up and coming game developers in central Florida. We are currently deep in the trenches in a five month development process for a new action sports title known as DeathBall 2013.
In DeathBall 2013 you play as a team of foosball players who have came to life in a post apocalyptic future. The world has been destroyed and they only have one thing left, to kick the shit out of every other foosball team in their path. We are building a game where you can choose the level of carnage you want to partake in. Do you want to play fair and go for the goal? Or do you want to sneak up behind the other team, decapitate their star player to steal his head, and score a humiliating goal to crush your opponents.
We have two months of development left at this point. The design is locked down and we are just now getting some fun playable gameplay up and running. I hope anyone who reads this blog will get a little window into indie development and what a group of game enthusiast can make with no money.
