Dystopia
Ok, you can bring hot chocolate for yourself. But first.. sit down please. Are you in comfortable position? Let's start then.
Dystopia? Huh?
When I've heard about Dystopia first time I said only: "Heh, I bet it's not so good as everybody says. But I could give it a try." so I decided to try it. I launched my browser and got to the official site: "Mhm.. 165 MB.. I prey for that I won't get over my FUP!" then I was forced to wait for the important moment. "Bingo! It's downloaded!" was my first words, when I had 100% from the client. Fast installation was the first little step to my cheer. I was little bit nervous if I can run it, so I carefuly and slowly drop my hand on my dirty mouse and double-click the left mouse button. "Yippie!" it worked (oh yeah.. I was almost crying).
Damn.. what am I supposed to do anyway?
Nice menu welcomed me. Then I (as usually) adjusted the settings and said "Let's rock!". But what was my surprise, that there are only about 6 servers with players. With the words "Bah.. I'll get over it" on my lips, I've choosed server with best ping. In a few moments, I was a bit confused first time, because I wasn't sure what to do, but I've learned all the basics of the game from the players. I was pleased with audio-visual part of the game, nice graphics and my PC has no problems.
Light, Medium, Heavy?
Another nice surprise - there are 3 classes, each with 3 various weapons. I choosed heavy with minigun, because I like "big guys with big guns". Except minigun, heavys haves got rocket launcher (boom!) and Ion Cannon, that shoots the ion beam which is quite effective. Mediums haves grenade launcher, MK808 semi auto rifle (very accurate and effective too) and assault rifle (zoom and fire with burst). And finally lights haves shotgun, boltgun (fires an electric bolt that could do a lot of troubles in the enemy lines) and laser rifle (hold to fire more powered shot). Every class has melee weapons- heavys haves "fatman's fist" and medium, light haves katana. They've got also grenades - heavy and medium haves frag grenade and lights haves EMP grenade = resets the implants of the players in its radius. As I said there are also implants, the modules, that could extend your skills, but you can only buy implants in the limit of your "points". Each class has another amount of "points", you can spend them to gain implants such as Leg Boosters (allows you to jump higher), Stealth (makes you not-fully invisible), MediPlant (aids you and others, if they are in the radius of MP), Thermal vision (very useful against the players with stealth)
and others.
Cyberspace!
Aweso me is that, that one group of players are fighting the enemies in the "normal area" of the map and the second ones (guys with CyberDeck) are hacking turrets, doors and other things in the cyberspace (some kind of virtual reality). I said only long "WooooooooW!" on it. Very nice thing.
Hey, you are nice!
During the time, I'm playing I couldn't pass over the nice community. People are nice, funny and they don't do any problems (and don't ask dumb questions ^^), but of course they are some "bad guys". Dystopia is like a drug - when you try it, you will want it more and more.
I'm sorry for my english.
