Echoes
Echoes is sort of a blend between Asteroids and Geometry Wars. Like in the classic Asteroids you control a space ship floating around somewhere in space, trying to stay alive while asteroids are flung around. But unlike Asteroids, Echoes has some extras.
Instead of just small and large asteroids, there are four asteroid sizes (ranging from mini to enourmous) comets, meteor storms, asteroid belts, planets (with moons), black holes and the sun. There are also both energy and weapon power-ups.

Bottom Line: Play it! Amazingly addictive, and probably the best looking indie game I've ever played. The controls are smooth and simple and the goal is simple, shoot things, die and play again. It's great fun and something you'll be looking to come back to day after day. The music is the only big drawback that I saw, it just gets way to repetitive after a while and a few different songs or dynamic music would have been great.
