Empyreal Nocturne
Empyreal Nocturne is a 3D aerial action game in which you combat enormous flying monsters by commanding a legion of birds.
Each flying monster, called Hydra, is a series of nodes connected together. You must defeat each weak point node to destroy the entire monster.
The design of the game is influenced by "Shadow of the Colossus". You battle enormous creatures that initially appear to be insurmountable. It is also partially inspired by "Rez" in the sense that they are both non-traditional, abstract shooter games.

| Developer | What I Did | Difficulty of Development | Anecdote |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics, Constraint Physics, Targeting, Effects | Average | ||
| AI, Physics, Gameplay, UI | Harder than Planned | The game was originally supposed to be more realistic-looking, with floating islands and mountains and trees. The game was about birds, but we came to the realization that we are not artists and could not produce convincing assets, so the game was partially redesigned to be more abstract. |
