EndEffector
EndEffector is a side scrolling shoot 'em up created by members of the Kyoto University Micro Computer Club. It is a classic shmup where you battle waves of enemies before taking on an end boss.

EndEffector doesn't seem to have any story other than that you have a space ship, and that a lot of other space ships are trying to shoot you down. You start off on Mars, and after that take to the skies.
Controls in EndEffector are simple, your ship is moved around with the arrow keys, and you have two fire modes. The main gun is fired with the X button, and can just be fired all the time since it has infinite ammunition. You also have a secondary attack which is fired with the Z button. Hold the Z button to charge a sort of growing orb, hold longer for a more poweerful attack, when you release the button, the orb will fly towards and past you and into (and often through) any enemies it encounters. The orb is usually enough to finish off any enemy in one shot, with the exception of the bosses of course.
