The first level can be broken by climbing over the left wall and falling off. You should disable the sticky in the first level like you did in the end level.
I don't find the controlls to be that bad, but having the sticky keys movec a bit away from the move keys would be a good thing. I suggest you experiment a bit with different ways of controling the movements.
Another way of improving the game is to add more levels with various ways of reaching the goal.
"Just one question: in the second level (spider) legs moves in a messy mode after falling."
It's a "cuasi bug" related to level design. It's suposed that the "spider" get some type of damage if falls from high places, but showldn't be to early(level 2). You mus expand all the legs to minimise the impact and avoid the luxation.
Nice game, (the name resembles a book of eric drexler, the guru of nanotech). Would be interesting using this basic-platform in conjunction with automatic learning (driven by genetic algorithm for example) in order to study the emergence of locomotion.
Just one question: in the second level (spider) legs moves in a messy mode after falling. I got two legs overlayed and I coudn't move easily my player. Is it just mine problem or is a bug?
Interesting concept but too technical and finicky to be fun. Having your legs turn inside out and having to start over sucks. Directional relative controls might be better.
Slow-paced (actually, not always bad), hard to control (why "sticky" and "move" next to each other?), short, but incredibly fun - has lots of potential.
The game moves at somewhat of a slow pace, especially when climbing on walls. Other than that it was an entertaining game I just wish there were more levels.
Awesome concept! I ended up playing for far longer than I first intended, which is always a good sign.
The main downside, though, is the controls. I like the aspect of figuring out the mechanics to walk around and climb wall : That is super fun.
However, it would be nice if keys were defined by the user.
If you practice enough, you'll get it in the end, but I think the controls might scare away many people...
Still highly recommended!!
