Bottom Line: My god this game is definatly worth playing. Alright, my first impression on the game was not so well.
I've never played F.E.A.R so I can't say anything about the original game. But this game was amazing. These Graphics....are so good, but so well performance, I couldn't find myself just walking off and leaving this game to render, so I set a little FPS bar. When the FPS is lower its around 30-40, when it's higher, it's 70-80. I'm fine with even 20. But damn, this game is really good performance. Now with the Gameplay: You're in a squad, that's what I first reckoned. And the game is pretty dark, even in maps that are outside in pure daytime, the game is still dark. You will see someone playing this game and when they shoot a gun you would say "That has to be the most awkward firing ever" But it's really not for me. In-fact, it's quite comfortable. You always feel like your the best player in the game, even when your the worst, You feel dominating. The gameplay and flow of the game I believe was aimed to be very realistic. For example, when a grenade blows someone up, only blood shows, nothing else. The bullet tracers are so hardcore, I just love those, because bullet tracers are cool. Coolest control: Definatly right click, I keep my hand hugging that mouse at all times durring this game. the right click is fun, but also very useful. It's a melee weapon, that's right. You're mouse is the most important thing in this game. The right click can be done in combinations. Space+RightClick : Jump in the air and kick that bastard in the face C+RightClick : Trip that bitch and laugh at him RightClick : Melee attack If you look at the blood splatters they are obviously particles, but it looks good nonetheless. Graphics: What can I say? I've already said it. The Graphics are amazing, the performance is amazing. The whole setting is very very dark, and...yeah. Weapons: The weapons are surprisingly balanced. There is a common weapon, but no weapon that if someone used, they would be called a noob. What I found out is that there is no spam blocker, this might be me or something, but I have seen people call votes 10 times in 2 minutes. And 150 Messages a second, and that's annoying. Sounds: Ahh here we go. I don't know what they made the music with, but I guarantee you I've heard of it. The Creepy ambient sounds make my ears lust for more. I've notice the thing were people speak when something happens "Man Down!" "I'm Hit!" "Taking Fire" "Got Him!" It all happens automatically, it doesn't bother me much though. The music is just plain creepy, adding to that darkness feeling you get so much. Over all, this game is awesome. 5/5 Learning Curve: Takes a second
