Excellent game, one of the most polished games on the GBA.
Randy, the perma-death is actually a feature of the game - remembering that the game is targeted at Japanese tactical RPG players, who tend to be rather hardcore. If you're so adverse to wasting time repeating missions, then you could just continue the game. Your best characters tend to survive anyway because of their high levels from repeated usage. Perma-death would only be frustrating if you're going for a perfect game with no character deaths, which is supposed to be tough.
And how about we have a game description up there? :)
Fun game, and great story for a hand-held tactical RPG. Loved the character advancement.
HOWEVER--the game's perma-character death KILLED it for me! I can't tell you how many times I played a mission for 45 minutes, to have some total surprise move by the computer eat a character I'd spent time advancing. I appreciate the intent to make it challenging, but ...sheesh. Every time this happened to me, there was 45 minutes of my life gone.
