Forces
This game is a very unique and original idea,

purely developed by current high school student
Adam Bielinski. In the game, you are a pulsating globe of energy that hurls particles at your enemies, purely using physics, namely charge.Tutorial is in-game.

I wish that the attract button had more uses, it's not too reliable as a shield, but it's such a cool idea I keep using it anyway. It would be cool if destroyed enemies turned into sparkles themselves.
It was written for my grade 11 programming class, and we were learning Object Oriented Turing, which is only Windows. The source IS open though! You could use the source and port it yourself!
Also, the way it pauses when you move your mouse off screen is awesome, it will most likely be a great game to sneak in during a computer class (teehee)

But the site just sits there and forgets to gimme the damn file. >:[
I like those addictive shooters with original aproach and yours is really excellent.
[-------------Music--------------]
Simply, open the music folder, delete the file there, put in an MP3, and then rename it "In-Game".
I have the game playing Gorillaz' "White Light" because of this"
You can do the same thing with sounds, with WAV files and naming them after the sound you want to replace.

In the "backgrounds" folder, select "CD Cover2" and right-click. Select "Edit", and it should bring up MS Paint. Have your way with it, save, and voila!
I hope you enjoy the results. ;)
Wish i could make a game like that >.<
BTW, indygamer.blogspot.com reviewed Forces; it's a short review, but hopefully it'll help popularize the game.
I didn't notice the radar bubbles, I should be more observant.
Lol, that's a pretty easy photoshop job. . .
...and may it rest in peace.
It's fine, it doesn't need a backstory. Giving it a backstory would just be cheesey.
If you want to up the difficulty, try not using them ;)

Greetings from Poznan :)
Because of this, I'm planning on actually remaking the game in a different language.
However, about your suggestion for a radar map... I did make something like that, though it's not obvious. I called it "Off screen Bubbles" in the options page. You might notice these small white bubbles at the edge of the screen growing and shrinking... they indicate the direction and distance an enemy is from the screen.
I must say, though, that your idea of constantly making sparkles is very interesting...
One major change with the controls that you might consider is to make drawing "automatic" -- without having to hold the left mouse button it would occur all the time, and to use the left mouse button for repulsion and the right mouse button for attraction. I felt that attraction (S on the keyboard) was useful but I never used it because it wasn't on the mouse so it was hard to activate at a moment's notice; plus it just feels more aesthetically balanced to put both attraction and repulsion on the mouse. But on the other hand you'd lose the feeling of "drawing" that you get with holding the left mouse button to draw, so it might be better as it is now. It's something I'd experiment with, or perhaps give the player the option to adjust the controls around.
I really think this game can begin a new attraction-repulsion shmup genre.
