When I played this game, but was really old, but I still didnt care. from the puzzles you face to the aliens and soldiers you encounter, this game never ceases to amaze me.

Easily the best single player first person shooter ever. If you've never played Half Life 1 before, buy it, or Half Life: Source. If you can get past the now-dated graphics, it's a solid game, with fantastic replay value. The scripted sequences and AI were top-notch for the time, and are still pretty cool now.

Hi, are you new to first person shooters? Have you thought that FPS games didn't hold that much appeal? Would you like to try out a first person shooter? Then you pick up this game. It gives you a few minutes to grasp the controls and lets you get a feel for what the first person view is about. Then, once you feel like you've got the hang of it, it drops about a dump truck full of action and puzzle on your ass. The enemies are great, and killing a head crab is oh so satisfying. Like zombies? Well, they are in here. Like blowing the hell out of creatures from other dementions? Well, thats here too. With seemless transferance from level to level and a nice save anywhere function, this is defenatly a must play. There is also a very interesting story here, where you, (Gordan Freeman), have to get from one side of the giant Black Mesa research compound to the other. Along the way you'll be enlisting the help of gaurds and other scientists to help you. All and all, this is defenatly a must play, and you can find it for PS2 on the cheep, I bought my copy for 17 bucks (plus tax).
