TS: Hyperbol is a game viewed Top-Down over a flat playing-field as you take control of a Ship that you customize in order to destroy your opponents. Game Types include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Spawn Capture, Attack/Defend Objectives, and more to be added later with a Map editor.
Your ship functions more like a Battleship, as it is stationary most of the time, a Turret that you can move occasionally across the map into strategically key positions, or simply to dodge incoming fire. The farther you move, the long you have to wait to move again. Or, you can customize your ship to recharge it's fuel rapidly if you wish to use a more active flighty Ship.
There are 6 Weapon modules that will produce the weapons you use. Your factory can hold up to 6 Mods total, so if you want more of 1 type, you have to forgo access to another. Having more then 1 will make production of that type faster, and allow you to hold more in your max stock. Each Mod will produce several different projectiles, for example the basic 'Ballistics' mod will give you access to Energy Bolts, Missiles, and Shrapnel Bombs. Also, once you have build a total of 6 Mods, you have the option to Upgrade 1 of them into a lv. 2 Super version. All the weapons made by this super Mod are either upgraded, or totally new versions of the weapon. As the above example, the Bolts do extra damage, the Missiles become MIRV Packs, and the Shrapnel Bombs become Shrapnel Wedges, which fires all it's shards in a cone instead of in all directions.

Bottom Line: Very Very nice, appeals to many people "Ok guys, we are on defense, Are we gonna push or hold them?"
"Lets push them, I gotta go soon anyways" "Ok guys go!" "Guys! Left side is taking it hard" "Rush the right and flank them!" "Guys! DerekB has just come in the server" "We are getting pushed back!" "NO! There rushing the wall, Someone EMP that sucker" "Alright....NO! He repeled it" "NO! We lost!" This is a conversation I heard when playing that amazing game. The tide of battle can turn in an instant. Rushing, Fighting, Ramming, Repairing, Running, and Hiding are some aspects of this game. Rushing to finish the fight and get to the Warp Gate. Fighting to hold the enemy back, or push them back. Ramming to finish them off when your out of ammo. Repairing to heal that objective, production station, and teammate. Running when DerekB steps in front of you. Hiding when you are low on health. Now onto the actual game review The game play is very hard when you start out. With 18 weapon icons, your radar, health and shields, movement button, Production station move button, and Production Center icon all on one screen, this can screw with newbies minds. Once you get used to it though, the game play is smooth and fun. Constantly changing environments can mean victory, or death. You may be charging to the objective to win the game, but then a wall gets thrown in front of you. HyperPlasms, Repulsors, Singularitys, all change the map. The Graphics are great! The particles, the ships, and the scenery all add to the stunning game play. Massive 8v8 battles, hyperbols firing all over the place, Plasma bolts and missiles buzzing your ship, Hyperplasm clouds forming infront of you, detbombs and time bombs flying every witch way, and Repair Drones flying behind teammates. Just stunning effects Each ship is totally customizable, from the parts, to its stats, to its colors and its name. And these stats will prove useful in the battle grounds. Despite the learning curve, this game is a must, and I recommend it to anyone who likes Stragity games. This is a must, Visual Pleasing, and totally worth it. I rate this a 4/5 or WIN for the amazing detail and fun. Learning Curve: Takes a while
