Bottom Line: Why are you not playing it RIGHT NOW?! I'll be honest, I'm a raving, foaming-at-the-mouth lunatic for all the Jak and Daxter games. They are all that good. But I gotta say the second is one of my favorites of all time. This is probably because I have never EVER played a game that is so relentlessly HARD. I know I had to do some of the missions twenty thousand times before I finally finished them on a fluke. Not only is the game insanly challenging but the storyline always leaves you begging to know more.
Jak is way more badass in this game then he was in the first, as a matter of fact, he is a very very angry man and says many angry things. It sort of makes you want to hug him if you didn't think he would punch you in the kidney. To go with his new lean mean 'tude he gets a bunch of sweet guns you can play with. The more missions you complete the better your guns can get due to "gun upgrades". Jak himself is also a deadly weapon this time around. You can transform into Dark Jak who has a variety of dark powers that you can unlock by collecting metal head skull gems and giving them to an Oracle. The controls are the same as from the first game with just a bunch of new moves added on. It's easy to learn and exicute all the moves, but that won't make it any easier to beat the game. I'm pretty sure you can't call yourself a living breathing human being if you don't play this game at least once during your life time. So play it. Now. What are you waiting for?
