K240
K240 is a game for the Amiga, although there was a PC version called Fragile Allegience later on with some new features and graphics. It's the sequel to Utopia, although not very similar gameplay-wise.
The main objective is to rid a sector of an asteroid belt from the always so hostile aliens. Each asteroid is drifting around, but by constructing a gravity nullifier any collisions can be avoided. The top surface of the asteroids is flat, and this is where you construct buildings such as living quarters, maintainence, mines and factories to mention a few. The enemies are doing the same thing of course, so the race is on to colonize and build massive space fleets.
The game is quite deep with many buttons to push, economies to balance, minerals to import and export and technologies to purchase.

Note
The palette on the screenshots below is a bit dark because it's meant to be seen on a TV at fullscreen resolution, not against a shiny white blackground on a webpage. Curving it up in Photoshop would ruin the authenticity of the palette, but if the murkyness bothers anyone I could fix it. I use a 2x mouse gesture to make them cover the whole screen, this removes the murkyness.
