Liero Xtreme or LieroX is a fast-paced 2-D shooter, and is the most popular rework of the original Liero. It features both netplay and local hotseat games. The game is highly customizable, meaning that it is possible for players to create their own characters, levels and weapons. Liero Xtreme is a somewhere between a clone and a sequel of the original classic game Liero.
