Hmm, this is one of those "hmm" games...

While I would not quite classify this as a game in the traditional sense it does have a certain game-like element to it. In Line Rider your main goal is to draw a picture using the tools provided and try to get the "Line Rider" (a little guy in a sled) as far as possible along the lines of your drawing. The fun part is watching the Line Rider do crazy stunts and take extreme looking jumps that you have created. The game starts out in an edit screen where you must then draw in the track that the Line Rider will ride on. After you create your track with all of your jumps and pitfalls and aesthetic touches, you just press play and watch the Line Rider take your insane line design like a man. The reason I loved this game so much though is the fact that it is one of the more creative games that I have seen and it gives the player a awesome degree of freedom in using the tools at his/her disposal. The word is that this game is headed to the Wii and DS which I think it'll do very well on both. All in all this is a great casual game that will definitely bring you a few hours of enjoyment, as long as you have a both a creative and funny bone.

A great idea realised perfectly. I spent a good portion of my Christmas break showing this game to my family, and being amazed at the runs my Nephew made. Keep up the great work!

I'm personally a fan of open-ended games. Being free to do what you want is a great way to make a game more fun. Line rider is very open, but I think that that is not only it's strength, but it's main weakness. There is no "challenge" or objective in this game.
The controls for making a proper line for your rider to stay on are also difficult. Very few people can draw a smooth line suitable for a ramp.
