Blood Omen 2 is the second game revolving around the vampire Kain and his rise to power in the land of Nosgoth. Centuries after the nobleman Kain was brutally murdered, and driven from the world of light, he has assembled an army of vampires to take over the world of the humans. However, he was stopped at the capital city of Meridian, and slain by the fanatical leader of the Serafan, known only as the Serafan Lord. Now, 200 years after his defeat, Kain awakens, and starts down a path of vengeance and retribution, to destroy the Serafan Lord.
