Master of Defense
Master Of Defense is a strategy game that lets you assume the role of a brave hero, who has been chosen to save the ancient kingdom from the hordes of monsters. The challenge of the game is to ward off relentless attacks of monsters and prevent them from capturing people in your castle.

In Master of Defense you have to protect villagers by building defense towers. Each level has a path running through it, monsters will come from one end, and keep going towards the end where the villagers are. If you don't manage to stop the monsters before they reach the villagers, a number of your villagers will die.
You can never directly attack monsters, you can only defend your villagers with your towers and a few other means. You have three basic towers, one which attacks ground units, one which attacks flying units, and a magic which attacks both, but is weaker. Later on in the game you get access to an ice tower which slows enemies down, a fire which burns enemies and poison attacks for the magic tower. You will also get a hot air balloon which you can move through the level which will drop bombs on the ground over which it hovers.
Every defensive structure you have has a certain firepower and attack range. When first built, towers are quite puny, but you can upgrade them to make them cause more damage, fire faster, and get a bigger attack range. Building and upgrading towers costs money, which you gain by defeating enemies and surviving raids.
While it might be tempting to build many towers, upgrading instead of building new towers has a distinct advantage, as (especially at the later stages of the game) you will need high-damage towers to make an impact on enemy health.
In addition to the money you make, you also gain experience points after surviving a raid. You can spend the experience points on upgrades for your towers (incresed firing speed, damage or range for all towers) or new structures, such as the fire or the ice tower.
The main playing mode is formed as a campaign with a series of levels, and each level a number of raids (each raid consisting of a number of enemies storming down the path). In addition to the campaign there is also a survival mode where you have to keep playing for as long as you can, that is, until all your villagers have been killed, against incresingly powerful enemiy raids.
