Bottom Line: No, because it's too simple. I really don't think this had much effort, I could understand this being actionscript practice.
First off there are no sounds, when in making a flash game, sounds are a huge priority. It would be alot more fun if you had put even the most simple of sounds like a sine wave when you die, or a saw wave when you get gold. The graphics....well...there aren't really any graphics at all, it kindof reminds me of a graph chart. You should really work on your menus however, I don't understand where you got that shape from, but it looks randomly generated in the main menu. This is actually not a platformer, although it looks like it, it's more of a lazy code, such as "if(key.IsDown(Key.LEFT)) { x = x+ }else{0} " That code would only work in your game my friend. There is no gravity, and you can move off of the platform, (Which is actually just a rectangle, not really a platform) I don't get how Alex can fit gold bars that big into his pocket. Next off the enemies. Are they having a sugar-low? A Diabetic seizure? My answer: Yes, because they were programmed to. No they aren't out to kill you, it just happens that they kill you if they touch you. 1/5 Learning Curve: Instant!
