Like in all ABA Games, there is a simple premise, in Mu-cade you have a ship on a relatively small square platform, falling over the edge ends the game.
Long, slinky enemies try to get you off the edge, and you have to shoot and push them out of the way to keep your place on the platform. As the game progresses, you will gain a tail of your own (which you can cut off in exchange for a short power burst).
