Neverwinter Nights 2 is a title by Obsidian using the Dungeon and Dragons 3.5E ruleset by Wizards of the Coast. It provides an epic role playing experience in the single player campaign as well as easy to use tools for the community to bring their visions alive. Multiplayer is a core aspect of the game and it allows for cooperative and competative play depending on the module, as well as a dungeon master client controlling the world and characters as the players play.

The single-player aspect of this game is a bit dull, uninspired, and frustrating in places. The ending is clumsy and disappointing. The load times are brutal. Get this game if you want to join the multiplayer / mod community, but if you're looking for a great single-player experience then you ought to look elsewhere.

Meh... it's all right. Not enough opportunity for double-crossing the NPCs in my opinion. Once I agreed to do missions for Moire I wanted to run off to the Watch and tell them. It didn't provide that option, nor a feasible reason why not.

A bit long game, but okay good. Much better than NWN1, hadn't it been for all the bugs. And it has better graphics than Icewind Dale, for those who haven't noticed (as in NWN2's 3d have more details than Icewind Dale's 2d screenshot of 3d).

In terms of single player, this game is leaps and bounds above NWN.

So much potential - almost everything is at 80-90% of being great. The game play with the Keep is awesome, but just had some some hinkiness that made me not like ALL of it.

Definitely no Baldur's Gate, tho.

Obsidian didn't screw this one up! :D

NWN2 has a fun story, fun characters, and is all around a perfect sequel to what is perhaps going to remail the best Dungeons & Dragons game of all time
