In Ocular Ink you play an eyeball armed with a paintbrush. You roll around with the WASD keys, and your paintbrush is controlled with the mouse. To interact with other characters you can click on them with your brush, but it's in battle where your painting poweres become really interesting.
You can use your paintbrush to invoke magic spells. In the beginning you will be limited to the flick spell, which has you draw a line to flick whatever is at the start at the line to the end of the line. This can be an inanimate object hurled at an enemy, or even the enemy itself hurled against a wall or similar. As you progress through the game you will gain new spells that can be cast through different paint brush gestures.
