Penguins Arena

Penguins Arena is an exiting new game that was developed by FroGames, a three-person gaming company set in France.
Penguins Arena was made with Torque, and one first place in the Intel Game Awards for Best Game On The Go. Penguins Arena recently made it to Apple.com's gaming featured list.

Penguins were starving because of pollution and global warming. Finally, the ancient, legend, Penguin Goddess Sedna appeared, and said that only one tribe of penguins may survive. So the way Penguins deal with this, is they have massive snowball fights.

Penguins Arena allows the user to pick up powerups, like fish or eggs. The idea is to throw the snowballs at other penguins who have downloaded the game as well, or bots, and knock them up or out of the playing "field" and into the sea, where hungry sharks are waiting. As long as you have a teammate still alive, you can be reincarnated. Otherwise, you are directed to a cool specatator mode.

Penguins Arena has a chat feature, which is only availabe for registered, as well as naming, which is also only available for registered.
Penguins Arena is the only game of FroGames, with the exception of another one that is being worked on. The community and players are small, so the development is big, but you can expect to see three or four servers up on free times (after school/work hours, in the day not late at night).

Penguins Arena is for the Mac and Windows, though suprisingly, not Linux. It is 22 MB. It can be purchased for a mere 20 dollars, which allows you to pick up all powerups, fire snowballs WHEN YOU ARE DEAD, and tons more.

Penguins Arena combines the idea of a cute, fps game, as well as concern for global warming and pollution.
