Penny Arcade Adventures will be a series of games featuring the characters of the popular web comic Penny Arcade.

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an upcoming video game based on the webcomic Penny Arcade.

Announced on August 25, 2006,the opening day of that year's Penny Arcade Expo, it is set to be an 3D action-adventure game that will be distributed episodically several times a year via download.

The teaser shows what appears to be the glowing eyes of the Fruit Fucker character from the comic strip. As shown in an early screenshot released on the Penny Arcade Web site, "primitive" Fruit Fuckers with visible gears appear in the game, tying in with the game's somewhat 1920s steampunk timeline and style. The glowing eyes may also belong to a Lovecraftian creature, as the game will incorporate some elements from Lovecraft's stories (the title could be considered a reference to the Lovecraft story At the Mountains of Madness).

A teaser trailer is available at GameTrailers. It features an action segment with the characters Tycho and Gabe fighting with attacks including punching, kicking, and tommy-guns. A legion of Fruit Fuckers also appear, automatic guns in their "chutes".
