PlanetSide
There are 3 main factions to choose, the New Conglomerate, the Vanu Sovereignty, and the Terran Republic. Each has advantages and disadvantages. The Vanu rely on alien technology and energy weapons to advance their agenda. The New Conglomerate relies on hard hitting firepower such as shotguns and large shells. The Terran Republic relies on superior rate of fire such as the Mini Chaingun.
You can also earn medals and ribbons called "Merits" that you can proudly display on your arm. These merits can also gain access to new vehicles or weapons.

PlanetSide is an internet-only game, requiring players to connect to Sony Online Entertainment servers via their own Internet connections for which they are responsible. Sony Online Entertainment charges a monthly subscription fee for this game, separate from your Internet service provider access charges. 30 days of gameplay are included with purchase for new accounts only. You must provide a valid credit card to register and play. After your first month, you can use your credit card to buy more time.
