Project Firestart is a survival horror/action game set on a spaceship. You are sent to the ship to find out what went wrong, and what happened to everyone. Soon, you come across dead bodies of the former crew, and stumble upon failed genetic experiments. It is then a race against time to blow up the ship, escape and become a hero.

The story telling in Project Firestart was done via cutscenes and from documents found on the ship. The replay value was raised due to multiple endings. Depending on what objectives you completed and how you completed them, you would be given a certain ending. Also, creatures could appear at any moment, always keeping you on your toes and never knowing what would come up next.
