Roblox is an online building game where you play with customizable blocks. Fight with rockets, ride trains, do practically whatever you want. Unike most other games, there aren't any pre-defined goals, you are given blocks and left to do whatever you want.
With your free account, you get a Character and a Place. You can customize your place however you want, and visit anyone else's place as well.
With over 13,000 players, there is plenty of creativity to go around. Every world is user-created. There are many, ranging from a Maglev that you can ride, to a pirate ship that you can destroy, to a Capture-the-flag map with working vehicles.
Code with Lua, the simple and easy-to-learn programming language, you can do practically whatever you cant think up. Several users have created great things, like trains, planes, cars, factories, tanks, police stations, rockets, the list goes on and on.

Lua allows you to do more. Script very complex things and such.

That may be so, but at least we're farther ahead than you. While you are working in your cubicle as a sales rep., playing your little Java game, Badspot is actually doing his job, which is MAKING BLOCKLAND. The reason why Blockland isn't crappy, is because it isn't made for spending Badspots free time. He makes it so he can pay for food, electricity, and his house.

Blockland works on P2 and onboard video I believe, and even better on an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz, 1 GB of RAM and a GeForce 8600 GT.

Then why do you have to pay5 a month just to feel like a free person? We can host our own maps in Blockland too. And to make models for ROBLOX you need some sort of $200 software that only high-top developers use, like EA Games or something. For Blockland, all you need is even just a Milkshape 3D trial.

We don't flame someone just for asking the controls to the game. You are seriously throwing the truths of your community in attempt to call it the truth of Blockland.
I used to like Blockland until the community started to get flooded with assholes. Before in 2006 when I asked "How do I move?" on the Forum I'd get "W S A and D to walk. Move the mouse to look aroung. Right click activates your Jets. And Space bar jumps." Now if I ask that I get "Shove it up your ass, Dipshit.".

It is a very fun and addicting game. I was attracted by the fact that it had Lua, but I stayed for the great group of guys who started it. I've re-done the Wiki and have helped them out as well.
